Brighton & Hove Conservatives had the first ever Conservative Gay Pride Float in August 2007

Gordon Brown has NEVER voted for equal Gay Rights, he first attended the Commons on the 19th March 2007 to vote in favour of the Equality Act, before this time he has never attended the Commons to vote in favour of any of Labour's progay legal reforms, including the Government's equalisation of the age of consent, gay couples being able to jointly adopt, civil partnerships, the Equality Act and the abolition of Section 28, which restricted the promotion of homosexuality in schools.

Gordon Brown has been ABSENT for 14 out of 15 votes for gay rights

David Cameron's Conservatives are an inclusive, modern and compassionate party

I believe that eveyone is equal and that discrimination is always wrong. In Brighton we are so lucky to have a LGBT community that is accepted. That is one of the reasons that Brighton is such a wonderful place to live.

In August we had the first ever Conservative Gay Pride float and a new Conservative Group called L.G.B.Tory has just been launched to raise LGBT issues within the party.
